Biography
Judith J. Leidl has received international acclaim and numerous awards for her art. It has been shown in over sixty solo and group exhibitions in North America, Europe and Asia. Her work is included in many prestigious private and public collections.
Judith has instructed classes in printmaking at the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design and at Nunavut Arctic College, Baffin Island. More recently, she was artist-in-residence, Masterworks Foundation, Bermuda, as well as Artistic Advisor for the 2001 Pangnirtung Community Print Collection, Baffin Island, Nunavut. She currently teaches drawing and painting in the Art Department of Acadia University.
Judith Leidl resides in Wolfville, Nova Scotia, with her family. In her more quiet moments she enjoys the pleasures of her garden, with its ever-changing faces and moods.
